That Deaf Guy is Desmond, a stay-at-home dad and a graphic designer who uses sign language to communicate. He loves technology and wants to bridge the gap between deaf and “hearing” people.

Helen is Desmond’s wife. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and works as an interpreter for the deaf. She has studied these subjects extensively and is a tireless advocate.
